The Internship Training program aims to cater to quality, relevant, and responsive learning experiences for all students through carefully planned, progressive, and closely monitored actual work experiences required in a globally competitive labor market.
The main objective of the Internship Training Program is to expose student-interns to the actual work environment. To train them to be technically competent, socially committed, and morally motivated to meet the challenges and demands of the profession.
The Internship Training Program serves as a challenge for student-interns to apply their knowledge of the subject matter and the theories they have acquired through classroom training. This is another dimension of learning that allows the student-interns to learn new techniques, develop competencies and skills, and hone their capabilities in human relations and social interaction, particularly how to get along with their superiors and co-workers.
Given to undergraduate students with either BS or AB Psychology. The students may select which area they prefer to be trained in.
Designed for graduate students with either MS, MA, or MPsychology. Students may select their preferred training area for specialized exposure.
Develop core competencies across three specialized psychological settings.
Focus on recruitment, evaluation, and training. Students will expect an output-based necessary to acquire the skills needed in the workplace.
Exposure to the partner company will be contacted as part of the completion of the task.
Focus on case profiling, clinical assessment, and treatment planning for the graduate internship program. Students expect an output-based task necessary to acquire clinical skills.
Exposure to the partner rehabilitation facilities will be contacted as part of the completion of the task.
Focus on group dynamics, community assessment, and psychological program development. Students expect an output-based task necessary to acquire community setting skills.
Exposure to the partner community and centers will be contacted as part of the completion of the task.
